Seacoast Uniforms was started in 2007 by Marc Mason, an Air Force veteran , and Dawn Mason, his wife and a successful Real Estate Broker. Leveraging their strong sales and corporate backgrounds, they started a uniform and embroidery company that strive to be a cut above. Seacoast Uniforms is an all-American company which strongly believes in delivering a level of customer service not often found in the industry.

WE ARE NOW DBE CERTIFIED BY THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION!

     
Seacoast Uniforms, a woman owned, and operated business established in 2007, has received a national certification through the Florida Department of Transportation’s Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) program. Seacoast Uniforms celebrates 13 years in business in 2020.

“The Department’s Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) program is designed to remedy ongoing discrimination and the continuing effects of past discrimination in federally-assisted highway, transit, airport, and highway safety financial assistance transportation contracting markets nationwide,” says the FDOT website. “The primary remedial goal and objective of the DBE program is to level the playing field by providing small businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals a fair opportunity to compete for federally funded transportation contracts.”

A small business may be determined ‘disadvantaged’ due to minority status, business size and net worth, and the amount of independence over business operations among other eligibility criteria. A business receiving DBE certification will have a greater chance of receiving Request for Proposals and being selected for federally funded contracts.

Seacoast Uniforms, located at 5853 S Congress Avenue, Atlantis Florida, many additional certifications; Certified GSA Woman Owned Small Business (SBE), WBE Certified State of Florida Office of Supplier Diversity and Certified WBENC Women’s Business Enterprise. We also have two 15 Year GSA contracts including Schedule 78 GS-03F-0075X and Schedule GS-07F-0294Y. With that, we have extensive experience working with various federal, state and local entities.
